The first tab allows the user to select the update interval for the active satellite and radar thumbnail images. The default is every 6 hours. A selection of 999 will prevent thumbnails from downloading at all… which is a valid option since the system always downloads the latest image regardless of the age of the thumbnail image.

The thumbnails will not update unless you activate the Hurrtrak Online Timer.
